After taking the shahada, all you do is truly accept Islam in your heart. However, for official purposes like marriage and such how would they know?

Simply tell them, or change ur name into an islamic and dress islamic (for women: hijab)

The Mosque usually gives certificates as a proof of converting to Islam.

After taking the Shahada, you should go talk to the Imam in the nearest mosque or an organizer from that mosque to give you a certificate that show that you are a Muslim. It should have your new Muslim name. (you don’t have to change your Christian name, but instead you will have two names, for example, James “Gabriel” Kim, Gabriel is the Muslim name or Adrianna “Fatimah” Kim, but its better to change it completely, of course it depends how comfortable you feel).

Having the certificate will allow you to enter Saudi Arabia and preform Hajj, marriage, etc…
