15: When should teens start thinking about their future?
We had a presentation at school about figuring out what we want to do, budgeting, etc.
I’m in ninth grade.
I always thought I was too young to be thinking about it.
When should teens start thinking about university, careers, volunteering, part time jobs, etc?

I’d say the same, year 11 or 12… i don’t know where you live, but in nz there is a year 13 in our school system too. Anyway, my point is, people’s interest change during high school, especially if your only in year 9 now. I didn’t get a job until year 11. There is no need to rush. High school is for you to find out what you enjoy and do not enjoy. in year 9 i was hoping to pursue a music career, I had a fair idea that in uni wanted to be a music teacher. However, i completely dropped it two years later, and now I find myself enjoying science more!!
But keep your options open! Experience and learn new things, and see if you like it or not.
