In the Southern hemisphere the super 15 competition starts in early Feb and finishes in May. The International season for the tri-nations is between July and Aug. Actually it is difficult to say when a professional rugby season starts and finishes. I would say only Dec and Jan are the 2 months professional rugby players have off. Probably it is similar for Nth hemisphere rugby comps as well.
it starts around march, find it on sky sports 030,031,037Answer by blm
You’ve got to define which type of rugby you are talking about, and what part of the world. In Rugby Union, in the southern hemisphere the professional season (Super-15, ITM Cup and Currie Cups) run (approximately) from February though August. In the northern hemisphere the professional European competitions (Aviva Premiership, Magners League and Top-14) run from September through into June.
In Rugby League, the NRL in Australia runs from March through September. SuperLeague in England runs from February to September.
As for the channel — that depends on where you are watching, of course.
