as far as i can remember the first “foreign” fastfood place started in the 1970s, although it most probably started earlier than that.

but it was in the early 1980s when they started to develop, & yes it was around this time when mcdonalds & the like came into the scene.

Way back in the 1800’s. Remember those street vendors selling banana or camote bbq or the place we call “carenderia”? These are examples of fast food.

I think in the ’70. In the late 70’s, Jollibee was already a name to watch. It was simply just a burger shop.
