–: When a person asks about interest in Islam, why is it a whole bunch of Christians talk bad about Islam?
I see a whole bunch of idiotic christians trying to hate on Muslims and their religion. Is this because they are jealous of the truth of Islam?

People post something from faithfreedom or thereligionofpeace but never bother looking at the other side of the argument. WHy is this?

I just recently made a thread like this – except it was with Jews. They (the christians) explained to me that they don’t hate us, they actually love us and are actually trying to tell us how we can get into heaven.

Those supposed Christians then need to check their relationship with the Lord, and either are new believers or believers that are outside the relationship with their heavenly father.
We are here as ambassadors of Christ, so it is biblical to persuade men to turn to Christ, and not false religions, but to do so in Love, and to always love. Was that not the message of 1Cor. 13 ?

Unfortunately that is just the way it goes. Christians are often blamed for “bad talk”. I am glad that you said “whole bunch” instead of “all”.

Christians aren’t the only ones bad mouthing Islam, I can assure you.

It’s not hating the Muslims, it’s about loving them enough to speak against the delusion they have come to believe through false prophets like Mohammad.

As for looking at it from the other side, I have read the Koran and the history of the birth of Islam and found it is so full of inconsistencies and false teachings that it cannot be considered genuine even as a possibility.

Maybe it’s because many Christians have studied Islam and believe it to be a false religion according to what the Bible says. Maybe because the man Muslims proclaim to be their prophet was a horrible person and Christians know God would not choose someone like that to be a prophet. Perhaps the Christians are trying to get those interested in Islam to see the horrendous truth behind the religion. It is the responsibility of every Christian to spread the word of God and the teachings of Christ. Since Islam and the quran go against even the most fundamental beliefs of Christianity perhaps the Christians are simply trying to warn those interested in Islam who don’t know the truth about it.

That is an interesting question. Tell me, what is your stance on the crime of apostasy practiced under Islamic Law (Sharia)? How do you feel about its penalty phase in relation to “idiotic Christians”? Can a Christian truly live in peace in those countries? I think a Christian could pose a similar question to you about Islam picking on them. I am a Christian and make no excuses for the behavior of the unlearned in my Faith. However, Islam has similar problems and should point no fingers.

“The truth of Islam” can also be debated in any scholarly circle. For example, Christianity and Islam can agree that Adam and Eve were the first humans. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve committed the first sin (Gen. 3). Islam teaches that they were forgiven of that sin so they could not pass it down to their descendants. Christianity teaches that they did pass it down, along with its penalty – death (Rom. 6:23). If that sin were not inherent, why would anyone, other than Adam and Eve, die?

In the eyes of God no one is without sin (Rom. 3:23). For that reason, all people are under the same penalty first found in the Garden of Eden (Heb. 9:27). Adam’s children made sin offerings and Mary, the mother of Jesus, made sin offerings (Gen. 4:3–4 & Luke 2:22-24). They made offerings because they were aware of their sinful nature and need for forgiveness. Without forgiveness, all people, on the Day of Judgment, would be under the curse of the law (Gala. 3:13). That is why he sent His Lamb (Jesus) as a way to forgiveness.

You know, I have often wondered the same thing.

Take note of a few responses you got:

One “englishbible” quoted the Qu’ran and managed to cherry pick a violent passage. Yet the Old Testament is full of violence.

Another saying that they are assured that christians aren’t badmouthing Islam, then the one directly under them said “Islam sucks worse than the pig they won’t touch”.

I wouldn’t say they were jealous of what you think the truth is, given ALL of them think they have the ONLY truth in the world, and it’s because of that, people badmouth anothers religion or ones enquiry into another religion.

They think they are doing the one enquiring a favor by turning people away from such enquiries, all they are doing is showing intolerance.

If people don’t live the life HOW would they know, yet they scorn the ones that wish to know more either for personal knowledge or for the sake of converting.

Because Mohammed declared that all infidels (non-muslims) should be killed. He also eliminated freedom of choice for muslims by saying that any muslim who rejects his or her faith should be killed. It seems to me that if Mohammed had any real faith in God, he would see that God could do the killing by Himself, since He is all powerful. Apparently, Mohammed doesn’t think God is all powerful. We talk bad about Islam because Islam is a bad faith.

You talk about christians not looking at the other side, yet it is you who are guilty of this. Why are christians idiots for hating islam? Have you not noticed the violence that many followers of islam are bringing to many parts of the world? You may disagree with the christians, but are they idiots for feeling this way? Why should people look at your invisible actions as being representative of islam, rather than the many who promote violence and terrorism?

Many people of all beliefs claim that there are in fact many things seriously wrong about Islam, its founder, and modern day Islamists?

Why are you incapable of realizing this?

What we have been seeing in the news for decades now is a whole bunch of Muslim fanatics not only hating non-Muslims but actually committing the most evil and blasphemous of crimes against fellow Muslims and non-Muslims.

In islam we are taught that you shouldnt hate on any religion whether they are christians, hindus, jews ETC. Christians however should do the same. the jews cannot do this however because they beleive they are the chosen people. there is a true story (HADITH) from our prophet Muhammad PBUH that ” A jewish lady always used to throw rubbish ( camel intestines/waste) at him whenever he used to walk past every single day. then one day the prophet (pbuh) realised she didnt throw it at him and he found out that she was poorly he then visited her because she was poorly and she was shocked to see him visiting her because she has been abusing the prophet. later she converted to islam.” this story (hadith) in islam shows that you shouldnt hate on anybody maybe the christians do this Allah (GOD) knows best. i hope this answers your question.
