♥~♥Mrs. Joyce♥~♥: Whats with teens falling in “love” with every person they date?
I see this all the time with my generation. My friends start dating someone then a few days later they are telling each other they love each other.
I dont get it. Yeah i know people can fall in love that fast but i highly doubt it when you are 15-17.
Love is just a term that has been tossed around so much it has lost its true meaning.
Anyone here see what im talking about?
What is youre opinion on this?

Well im 16 im totally in love with a girl and i know me and the girl im with will last forever… I know we will.
Everyone knows what you’re talking about. It’s always been like that. It’s called puberty and hormones. Chill, wait a bit, and get off your high horse.Answer by Louisa.
Well teens haven’t really been exposed completely to the real world yet. Just let us have our little fun while we’re young and full of optimism!Answer by crystaldreams8
hormones fluxuate quite alot when teenagers reach that age. There is also a brain development goin on that begins to connect cause with effect. Also, any kissing, sexing, ect. often leads to a release of chemicals in the brain that causes the same effect as the chemicals of love. They are often confused-especially strong in teenage girls.Answer by JTay
its called growing up and learning.
and every generation does it.
Answer by Bad Newsit’s because they are just kids
they don’t know the real meaning of love
saying i love you is cool because people say it on tv and it gets a big response everytime it’s said on tvAnswer by el Guapo Diablo
I agree!Answer by umm
That’s what I think too. My last ex told me he loved me on our second date! I was like, “um..?”
It was kind of scary. It showed me he didn’t know the meaning of love. I don’t want people to tell me they love me until they mean it, and it comes to the point of being unconditional. I definitely agree that people just throw the word around nowadays. I guess its just an extreme case of infatuation.Answer by M4D SC13NTIST
An abundance of hormones causes the attraction to be significantly stronger at this age due to physical attraction. The emotions that accompany a hormone infused teen in courting are natures way of ensuring a bond so that if procreation occurs, the baby will have guardians.Answer by I
Everyone wants to convince themselves that they love someone and are loved back. And if you start saying that you love them in the early stages it won’t be awkward later on.Answer by Mike
I think it is just people expressing a feeling that is unknown to them.
These kids go home and see how their parents love each other and mimic because it is all they know.
I wouldn’t say they are in love but I also wouldn’t say they are not. Only they hold the answer.
Answer by Just a GirlTeenagers are very emotional. They are happy easily, sad easily, upset easily, cry easily, get excited easily, and fall in love easily. It is a safe time in their life to love and be loved. They know that if anything happens mom and dad and friends will be there to pick up the pieces. And most don’t know any better. I’m 25 now so with my knowledge from past relationships i know to be protective of myself in giving a guy my heart….. but I learned it from those teenage and early college relationships that are just what we think is “love.”Answer by Jenna
I think there are a lot of contributing factors when teens find themselves in love. Some declare their love because they are afraid of being alone. Others declare their love because their hormones are getting the best of them (which I’ve found to be pretty common; teenagers are notorious for being hormonally ruled.) Peers may pressure teens to be in a relationship; if all of a teens friends are in committed relationships they may feel awkward or abandoned because they are not in a relationship. A large contributor is naivety; they just don’t know better. You learn the definition of the word love by interactions with others, so for some it may take some time to REALLY understand what love means to them or their significant other.Answer by My roflcopter goes SOI SOI SOI
i agree about that ‘love has been used too much’. i think kids are just confused these days and they dont realise what a strong word love is. we used it for everything these days

I’ve only ever told two guys I loved them. One was when I was sixteen and I’d been dating him for four months. The other one was when I was eighteen. I’d only been dating him for a month, but I had to make the decsion to move across the country without him or fight my parents to stay at the college I was at, and stay with him. Everyone said I was crazy to choose him and we’d never last.
Its been over two years now and we are still crazy in love. 🙂Answer by anne <3
they have no clue what love is and use the word too looselyAnswer by arna
Hi!
Yeah..I’m agree with you..
Actually this happen because they don’t know what the meaning of love..
Love can not say with mouth always, but feel it at the same time..
If they say I love You you can say too..
If your friends say Love always is that mean they will not together at the long time!!
Believe me!!
I know because i’m 19 and i know why this happen because they just want to feel what a mean couple actually..(Let’s say teenagers / child want to grow up!)
That the word in my country say for this people..
You just let them with their life and you as a girl care foryourself and don’t think about the other..okay..?
Let the love come to you without we find it..
Just like me..Now,guy come to me and me..just ignore them..Because i want to study and help my parents that all..This is our responsibility actually to help our parents and not give them a bad luck!!
I know! It gets me so mad! I had this boyfriend who told me he was in love with me and I know I am too young to be in love that quickly. He then was pressuring me to say the same but I wanted to be honest. Therefore we had a break up soon after. Men!Answer by Mrs. Johnny Weir
I say why do you care so much?
Y’know, people are always like “you dont know the meaning of love!” But what makes them so educated on love?
Not that I’ve told anyone I love them.
