Crushes happen even in elementary school.. falling in love with someone, really shouldn’t be taken THAT seriously until you’re out of high school, at least.. but.. >_>

That’s some strict mom. D:

you know the saying “love is blind”…. that doesn’t just apply to who you fall in love with

Uh, crushes?
It’s not like you can control who you like.
So middle school age or so.

Don’t worry though. My mom’s the same way.
She doesn’t want me or my twin sister worrying about the opposite gender (or in my case at some points, since I’m bi, same gender) until we’re out of college. -______-;
…Yeah, that’s not really stopping my twin…

Boyfriends though, they’re really only worth it if you can actually drive yourself around/he can drive.
So 15-16 years old.

whenever it happens, that’s the right age. and believe you me you are blessed if you really fall for someone.

my first love happened at 28. pretty late even for Indian standards.

Answer by CRiZYxo
She’s only saying that because she wants you to be mature, smarter and have responsibility before you start falling for a guy.
Parents believe relationships disturb your studies, which is true… but is needed to learn things through YOUR own perspective… and not only through wat others say.. sometimes you need to learn and go through things by yourself to learn.

falling in love is when you feel something, you never knew was possible

a crush, is: “wow he’s cute… “”ouu him too!” “aww look at his smile!”
falling in love is: you can’t live without them.

Answer by Com Nerd
If it is puppy love…. anytime…

If you are looking for someone to live the rest of your life….. 2 years after you start working…

Working will murture your thinking and you are open with more options… better options…

Answer by Nicholas
You have every right to have a crush or be in love, because you can keep that to yourself. When you’re in college, then you can DO something about those feelings.

You can have a crush pretty much anytime after your 13 or so. But I feel that you should wait till at least 16 to have a boyfriend. But don’t do anything that he pressures you into. Like smoking, drinking, drugs. There is no place in a relationship for those/ Now sex there is a place but you have to be ready and I feel no person is ready for that till 18 or later/ Because all it takes is one mess up and your whole life is messed up forever.
