Cindi: What’s the difference between yahoo messenger and yahoo chat on yahoo mail?

From what I can figure, you can chat to someone on your contact list on the Yahoo Mail Chat Box. You dont have to add them to the messenger. To me, the whole thing is annoying so I turned it completely off. It shows youre online when youre not even home. People wonder why youre not at work and call you. It repeatedly pops onscreen with messages weeks old. I set mine to show Offline and its not been a problem since.

The one messenger is enough. The actual IM has a few more features.
