dunno: What’s the difference between loving and being in love?
I am serious. Could someone articulate the difference between loving, or thinking you are, and then ACTUALLY being in love. How do you know??

I think loving someone is something you chose to do. Being in love is growing closer and closer every day reguardless weather or not you’re getting along.
The thought is different from the action and reality and it being reciprocatedAnswer by Idkwtf 2do
Many people mistake the importanceof these words…
To love is like loving a family member or good friend…or some who you know will be there with you no matter what choices you make or what happens throughout. To love is the limit point of how you care for someone.
To be in love is the way you feel about someone. How you wish to care for them more and more, and no matter what happens you will always care for them. That there are no limits to how much you care for them.
hope i helped. help me?

I think of “love” as what you feel for family and friends. Being “in love” is something completely different… let me explain. For instance, say you’ve been in a relationship with someone for years, and you were in love with him, but then one day you wake up and you realize that the spark is gone, the excitement, the intensity, the butterflies are all gone. Yet you still care about him and want the best for him and want him to be happy… you’d probably still do anything for him because you “love” him, but you’re not “in love” with him anymore. And there’s no way to really explain how you’ll know when you’re in love with someone… you just know. That’s the beauty of it, there’s no explanations, and it just comes on suddenly, and in that moment, you’ll just know. : )Answer by Cracker Jack
Loving someone is just a feeling reserved for that person regardless. Being in love is sharing a special feeling.
