What’s the difference between being “in love” with someone as opposed to “loving” someone?

the: What’s the difference between being “in love” with someone as opposed to “loving” someone?
I’m just kind of confused at how some girls feel that there’s a difference between the two. I mean, I’m a girl too, and yes I am in love/loving someone, but I really don’t know the difference.

Anyone can help, that’d be really useful!!

Love- showing love to someone, affection.

Loving- having sex with someone, making love..

when you are in love with someone, truly in love with someone you
will no the difference, it’s like you love so much, you never want
them to leave or get hurt, yu would do anything for them
when you love someone its just like saying i like you
if i could i would tell the boy i am in love with ‘ i am in love with you’
but i just tell my friends i love ya girlee see the difference?
