yumi-chan: What’s the best hotel in manila for sleepovers? or best room in a hotel for it?
I’m planning to have some sleepover with my girlfriends. We’re actually 7 people.
Anyway, we just want to stay in one room. In the room, we’ll probably play board games, watch DVDs & do anything. I want to ask if there’s any hotel in manila good for this.
Thanks ๐
budget around 5k – 17k+
a room with dvd player ๐
btw, i’m also a metro manila resident ๐

it is quiet tradition in the Philippines to have an entire (large) family in a single room
from that point of view just about any hotel will be suitable
you forgot to mention budget / pricing limits
and the way you arrive or depart
there are middle price range hotels that always include free airport pickup on arrival and drop off on departure – both any time day and night, by car or mini-van
that extra service may safe you either direction 200-400 PHP depending on where your hotel located
search for:
swagman hotel manila
that is a hotel I use since nearly 10 yrs when ever I arrive or depart and stay a night in Manila – just for above reason of pickup and drop-off
if you arrive/depart by car there are many hotels offering parking just below your room

I suggest the Victoria Court in Malati (there are several of them) I’ve stayed there many times and the newly remodeled rooms are excellant. Refrigerator, DVD/Karaoke, TV and cable, inhouse channel (wink wink). First class c.r , aircon and hot water. The double occupancy including kids rooms were P1570 6 mo. ago and include 2 free meals. Maybe you have to rent 2 rooms if there are several in your group. The security is excellant. No one can leave your room if (its a visitor) until the guard calls room to be sure all is ok. I think you can have several visitors but until what hour I’m not sure. Its at Quirino Ave & M. Ignacia. It also has free parking inside. The outside is old but rooms are new and well maintained. The webside will show you pictures as I just accessed it; Hotel Victoria de Malate.com
I suggest you book room on lower floor section “B” They have the best rooms. The online booking will show room locations and photos..
p.s. Its about a P40 taxi ride to Robinson Place or Harrison Plaza for shoppingAnswer by BSRT
Manila Hotel near Rizal Park in Taft AvenueAnswer by angel_sylith
The Linden Suites in Ortigas Center is a good place for your sleepover. My friends and I hang out a lot in this place when I was back in Manila. It’s affordable and in the middle of ortigas center so theres a lot to do outside. It’s also near super markets so you can buy food and booze. they have suites with 2-3 rooms with kitchens and living rooms that would fit your budget. Its a decent place and people often go there to have sleep overs and parties.

Answer by yesicanGirl, Sleepover at Edsa Shangrila or Makati Shangrila.
I suggest you get a suite at Makati Shang since instead of hanging out with your friends, you can even spot celebs! (I spotted, Sharon and KC Concepcion when I was staying there)
This will really fit your budget ๐
