: Whats the difference between digital cinema and standard?
Okay so we are gonna watch fast five but it says either digital cinema and standard? What’s the difference and what’s better?

Digital will be slightly better quality, but to be honest you probably won’t notice the difference.
“Standard” is 35mm film projection, which is state-of-the-art 1930. Digital is an electronic file with image content encoded at higher resolution than HDTV, and using mild compression to avoid the kind of picture break-ups you might see on HD cable. In a perfect world, 35mm projected film can look very good. But in real life, as the film print runs through the projectors many times you will see noise, weave, jitter and sometimes scratches.
