I need to find specific things that occured in Egypt during the Middle Ages from Islam and mostly on culture changes from Islam.

poor and needy muslims and non muslims!! and gizieah (paid by non muslims and much less than the zakah) paid for protection . old,priests,women,children,poor non-muslims was excluded from gizieah . also if any non muslim choosed to join the army he would had been excluded from gizieah
you can simply say islam changes egypt from being coptic to being islamic

Prior to Islam many of them are pagans (who dwell with all kind of devil worshipping, or associate Allah with something else) or being led astray from the true religion as brought to them by earlier Messenger of Allah.Answer by zorro

(Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah) in 1000 A.D prevent the use of the ancient Egyptian language .. And requested the use of Arabic only .. And threatened to cut off the tongue of any person who speaks the language Egyptian Coptic.
Now the Egyptians speak the language of Egyptian-Arab mixed in both Arabic and Coptic .. and use Arabic characters.
