What week did you start wearing maternity clothes with your second baby?

Haley and Carrie’s mommy!: What week did you start wearing maternity clothes with your second baby?
I am almost 10 weeks pregnant and my pants are getting a little tight. This is my second pregnancy. Is this normal this early on? I didnt start wearing maternity pants until I was 16 weeks last pregnancy. Any advice will be appreciated! : )

With my second I started waring clothes at 10 weeks as well. With my daughter Haley I wasn’t in them until about 16 or 17 weeks. I think it’s normal.

Well in this my 3rd pregnancy that’s about when I started having to open the top up when I sat down. Instead of going to maternity pants I merely took some hair bands (for putting your hair back), loop it through the button hole and around the top button – voila instead early pregnancy pants that fit and don’t look weird. Of course your shirt needs to be outside the waistband.

But that sounds about right what you’re experiencing.

I wondered the same thing! LOL
I am 19 weeks pregnant with twins and my maternity clothes that I had from when I had my son are huge on me!! But then again I don’t really have a bump yet!

I cant remember with my second, now pregnant with third and had to start at 6 weeks :-/

I am 10 weeks (almost 11 weeks) pregnant myself but with my first baby and guess what, I am wearing maternity pants today for the second time this week cuz my pants are just getting far too uncomfortable. My doctor told me it was normal, especially since I have a short torso, the baby is not very big yet at this point but you also have to remember it not just a baby, you have a larger uterus and water and all kinds of changes going on in there and it all has to go somewhere and since I am small mine has no where to go but out.

Yup! Totally normal…I was out of my clothes earlier each pregnancy. You see your stomach is already streched some from first baby so you show easier. I was more comfy in maternity clothes anyway and some of them are just so cute now…Big difference after almost 13 years from first baby in maternity style, let me tell you…. 🙂
