B: What was the crime rate from 1976 to 2008 in Washington dc while the gun ban was active?
I need statistics on crimes involving guns in Washington dc during the period that guns were banned unless they were disassembled or had trigger locks, and the crime rates involving guns after the ban was lifted. Thank you.
That isn’t what I wanted, if you have an agenda and can’t answer a question without such bias, you shouldn’t answer any questions. By the way I like the straw man you set up. You don’t know the context of my question so you shouldn’t make implications.

“Gun crime” stats are skewed to make you think that guns are a problem in society.

“Gun crime” stats fail to account for all violence. For example: If 20 people are harmed in knife-fights in the UK and 1 in a gun-fight vs. 10 people harmed in gun-fights in the US, and 5 in knife-fights, they’ll say “gun violence is so much less in the UK than the US” — which is true, but also completely irrelevant to real crime victims, because the crime rate itself is HIGHER in the UK. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/7922755/England-has-worse-crime-rate-than-the-US-says-Civitas-study.html

You also have to watch what the stats actually count as “gun crime.” They often include self-defense (which doesn’t count as “crime” unless the assailant shot first), and they often label 18-21 year-olds as “children” when they were adult participants in a gang shooting. Also, the mere presence of a gun at a crime scene, even if it was never used or even brandished, leads to the incident being labeled “gun crime.”

It’s not criminals’ access to firearms, but law-abiding citizens’ unwillingness to defend themselves and/or punish violent criminals that are the causes of increased crime. By refusing to adequately defend themselves, anti-gun people are *enabling* robbers, rapists and murderers to commit their crime(s) against someone else, maybe MANY other people They are, morally, accomplices before the fact…just a thought.

When Kennesaw GA mandated that citizens have handguns, ammo and know how to use them, their crime rate plummeted. Not just “gun crime” but ALL CRIME plummeted! Violence rates decrease when private citizens have firearms.

{added} you are obviously the one with the agenda if you take offense at my answer.
