Sorry, it’s just not possible. Inexpensive laptops are good for just about everything but gaming. There’s simply no inexpensive laptop that’s good for gaming.Answer by Khelben
Well there’s nothing that is going to be even decent for gaming at that price so I wouldn’t have high hopes for that. If you play like non graphic intensive games like MMORPGs you should be fine.
If you don’t want a Toshiba maybe something like this
Acer Extensa EX5630-4928

You might as well get a good used gaming machine, e.g. Alienware, at the price you are asking. Remember that you get what you pay for. A good one runs around $ 1,500 to $ 2,000 new.
Another thing, you can only upgrade the CPU and memory on laptops. So check out the graphics on the laptop to see the quality of them. It used to be so nice where you could make a laptop the way you wanted for very reasonable price, but those days are pretty much gone.
Just ask the sale rep about the selection of computers and test everyone of them out to see how they perform.
Answer by PeterIt’s hard to find a good one for gaming at that price. For your purpose, do not buy laptops with Celeron CPUs, get the one with Centrino or better if you can get one with Core2 Duo CPU.
Anyway, if you mainly use it for gaming purpose, I would suggest buying a desktop as you can get higher spec with cheaper price.
