Nilanthy: What text would be best to start learning anatomy for the first time?
I’m in first year engineering, going into biomedical engineering next year and I was wondering what anatomy text would be best to start off with learning on my own? I’m very interested in the human body and did very well in high school anatomy.

Gray’s Anatomy. Not to be confused with Grey’s Anatomy.Answer by paulred2
well, if you’ve already done a high school course, it seems like a first year collage textbook would be a good choice. check the syllabus for that course, and what books they use, or just ask your professor, I’m sure he/ she would be happy to referr you to some helpful material.
