K: What sport is easiest to start playing in high school?
Next year I’m going to be a freshman, and I want to start playing a sport because colleges see it as a good sign of commitment. I’m pretty in shape. I’m looking for something that is easy to get a start on. What sport would you suggest participating in?

track or cross country because usually they dont make cuts. Track/xc requires a lot of work but it will make you look nice and in shape. Also everyone on these teams are always very niceAnswer by hamsterluver
track is probably the easiest cuz i dont know about ur school but at mine it’s no-cut. also cross country is no-cut tooAnswer by lax gear expert
I think it depends on where you live. For example, lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the country, and if your school offers it, you can pick it up quickly and compete even without prior experience.

Answer by Sarah!sports like track and swimming are super easy to catch up on. but since you’re only a freshman you could really go for any sports team. most schools have sports just for the freshman.Answer by mekayalltheway

You probably wanna stay away from basketball it’s harder if you start when a lot of other people have been playing since 3rd grade.
