Chris Down: What sort of A levels should I be looking at taking if I’m wanting a career in computing/programming?
I’m mostly interested in the programming side of things, but hardware also interests me. A career in computers or computing is essentially what I am looking to pursue when I leave my education later in life.
I am doing computing, but I’m wanting to make sure that other A levels will help me out when I want to get a job later in life. I’m assuming maths will help?
Thanks for the help deciding. 🙂

IT and maths. But I did Politics and economics and they sound wicked and theyll carry you bare far so just do that.
Maths is the most important. Especially if thinking about gaming. However, it comes up in almost every aspect of computing. Computing, English (writing various documents is unfortunately part of the job). If you’re interested in graphics / animation / web design, then I guess Art is another choice?
