A.J.: What should someone do when they fail the first math quiz of the year?
Hello everyone. I recently just failed the first math quiz of the year. My grade was a 50%. When I found out my grade I couldn’t help but cry. I take an Honors class and I feel soooo bad. When I begin to think of all the people who did so well on the quiz and how I faild it, it makes me want to give up. Can anyone give me pointers on how to cope with my thoughts of failure and pointers on what to do next?

Go to your math teacher and ask him/her to explain the problems you got wrong. Go over what you messed up and make sure you understand. Math builds on itself throughout the year, so make sure you get the lesson from the day before you go into the class.
i think u should talk to your teacher and see if u can take it over and if not do better on the next time,Answer by Timay
You should never give up. You should channel your sad thoughts and turn them into somethin useful. Its the end of the world if you fail the first. You should just study harder and never give up. Do something you love to cope with your thoughts and just forget that test.Answer by Sarai R
ok you should ask your teacher on some more help and maybe tell him if you can take a retest it that does not work tell someone that got a good grade to teach you some more they always say practice makes perfect so try your best on your next one if not tell the teacher that to make recheck your test and you can get a good grade my school is sikes elementary and my teacher helps us on the one that we are stuck on one he shows it on the smart board
