Its a site which sells game currency. What should i do to promote it without being a spammer? Thank you for your answer.
I used WEB CEO to do some SEO research but im not a professional SEOer. Besides SEO tips, what can be used to promote a site?
And thanks John P, i will try those SEM tips and then maybe we can discuss something here if anyone interested.

Review your SEO metatags to make sure that there are no spamdexed entries or duplicate, loaded entries. For example, it’s correct to use keyword entries which are plural or compound variations, i.e., game currency instead of games currencies.

Count the total number of words or phrases that make up your metatags. For example, the metatag consists of up to 41 words to compose complete sentences that best describe your goods and services: it is not a mere listing of goods and services.

And finally, your metatag is limited to no more than 15 entries, in plural and compound variations separated by a space and comma.

By observing the above limitations, you will be assured that your website will not be reported as a spamdexed website which could lead to your website being omitted from major search engine databases.

There are many things you can do to promote your site without spamming. It helps to have internet presence and the way that I did that was to publish articles, blogs, newsletters, join business forums, business networking sites and built hub pages. Your articles do not have to be related to business specifically. You can write about anything you have some knowledge about. There are many article sites that publish them free as long as they meet the publishing guidelines. Hub pages are very easy and a lot of fun. You can write press releases, hand out business cards and flyers with your website and contact info on them, place a classified ad in a local newspaper, ask family and friends to help get the word out as well.
