Lupe: What should I do for my European History project?
For our final project in AP European History, we are supposed to design a “museum” exhibit. We need to write up a brochure explaining the historical significance of our exhibit and then either build or show pieces of art, history, models, etc.
In past years people have had art slide shows or built model WWII planes. I’m having trouble thinking of a creative idea though. It just has to have to do with European History from the Renaissance to present time. Thanks for any help!

If you want to something for your European History project I would go with WWII it’s one of Europe’s biggest moments in history and their are a lot of things to pull from it. There a few ideas I have you can do.
1. You can build model tanks instead of planes. Gert a Tiger or Panzer tank and the get an T-34 tank.
Compare the strategics of each tank and why the other tank dominated and helped it country achieve victory in battle
2. You can build a elaborate time. Just get some poster board together print of some pictures. Show major points in the war. Start the time line 1939-1945 showing Hitler’s rise to power and the fall of the third reich
3. You can build a uniform from scratch pick your country Germany, Berlin, US, or Russia
4. You can put a battle together using miniatures, you can make it 3D or 2D its up to you and you can get the miniatures from a game called Axis and Allies it should have all that you need
Battle of the Bulge, D-Day, and Stalingrad
5. You can build an elaborate set of the axis leaders and allies leaders. Tell how each leader contributed to their sides cause and how they acted as group all together
6. Build a scale model of a concentration camp or death camp like Auschwitz
7. Talk about the un-humane Nazi experiments and whether or not any of them benefit man. I believe I read somewhere that a lot of the hypothermia research on humans came from the Nazis
I hoped these ideas helped or at least jogged some for you
