Bea123: What reasons may a college revoke your offer of admission?
Would a college just revoke your offer of admission because of low grades after being accepted?
I have received two offers of admission from one college and my marks are all in the 80s and 90s and have not gone any lower. But i was considering applying for two other courses at other colleges, I was wondering if the colleges that have accepted me already could revoke my offer because I applied to other colleges as well?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Usually a college/university will not revoke an offer of admission if you apply elsewhere. The offer is just that — an offer. It isn’t binding unless you accept. If you do, then you agree to all the terms and conditions of the offer, which may include not applying elsewhere (but again, I’ve never seen a college/university revoke an admission offer just because someone who was already accepted applies elsewhere). The best way to find out is to contact the Office of Admissions where you were accepted.
P.S.: Yes, a college/university can revoke an offer of admission based on low grades after being accepted, and it does happen. My niece was accepted to Michigan State University this year, and she was warned that her offer of admission may be revoked or reduced to a probationary offer of admission if her grade point average dropped too far.
