What really is hip hop dancing and is 14 years old too old to start?

Destiny: What really is hip hop dancing and is 14 years old too old to start?
After watching step up 3D and a few videos people dancing hip hop, breakdance and ballet etc. I started to be in love with dancing. I used to take up latin dance wehn I was little. And hip hop to me is a big new thing for me.

I would love to know more about hip hop. Is it like normal dancing with new moves and not like breakdancing where you need to do stunts and all? And is 14 to old to start?

There may be a few stunts but breakdancing isn’t hip hop. I haven’t really learned any set moves for hip hop. 14 is still young, I started hip hop dancing at 31. Here are a few videos that show hip hop routines….
