mk1: What movie has a young man surviving a plane crash in the middle of wilderness?
This is all I remember: The plane crashes into a body of water. The guy is able to get out. Later on in the movie, he decides he needs something from the plane, so he swims to plane wreck and sees the dead pilot inside.

Also, if anyone has any “survival”-genre movies to recommend, I’d like to hear them. Thanks.

I read this book for school, its called Hatchet. I’m not sure if the movie is called Hatchet as well though..

Some survival movies..Castaway, Alive, Survival Quest, Man Vs. Wild.. do a google search and you’ll find heaps!

Ginger is right she should get best answer but just so you know the movie Hatchet is also called A Cry in the Wild https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099327/ the film usually goes by this title in the US not Hatchet.

This is important because there is another movie called Hatchet and it’s great but it’s nothing like what you described, it’s a horror film.
