: What makeup would look good on a girl with dark hair?
I have dark brown hair, and wanted to ask what makeup ideaa you would suggest. Dark colors like black are too harsh, and white is too light. Any help? I like to have a flawless look.

well they say if you have dark colored hair or dark colored skin is bets to use colors like violets or purples.

I suggest you bronzers,or slightly orangy blushes for your cheek bones.
Also a thin line with black eye pencil around your eyes would not be too harsh.
I think that olive green eye shadow would look gorgeous on dark brown hair.
Also look up for make uo choises of celebrities whose complections are similar to yours.

Olive green and pearl eyeshadow! L’oreal, Smashbox and Urban Decay have the best Olive green eyeshadow I’ve seen.

Hey!

Your makeup is also dependant on your actual skin & eye coloring.

I have olive skin and dark brown eyes and black hair my day to day makeup is fairly natural.

I tend to stick with Bronze colours, With black eyeliner and a super black mascara (no clumps) if I want to polish the look up I add a matt red lip but you want to make sure your have a good base first (right colour, moisturised & blended well)

Go into somewhere like Glow, David Jones or a department store that can recommend based on your coloring & what your comfortable with, there are some great tricks in magazines aswell (try bridal mags)

if your not a makeup wearer start with tinted moisturiser rather than foundation & natural colours & move from there, it’s fun to play around.

It depends more on your skin tone and eye colour. I couldn’t suggest to you what eye shadow colours to use without knowing your eye colour, nobody really could without knowing that. Your skin tone also matters a great deal and is especially important when choosing lip colours.

Rockstar purple cream eyeshadow w/ a little bit of brown/purple mascara goes a long way. Oh, and just make sure not to apply too much foundation; otherwise, it looks a little outlanish. I never use foundation. I just apply coverup sparingly as needed. It looks natural, yet flawless and nobody will ever accuse you of wearing too much makeup =)
