Paulo D: What kind of underwear do professional soccer players wear?
Is there a specific type of underwear that is required in professional soccer? Does it have a name? I’m asking because a person at work said there is no uniformity in soccer and their uniforms are a good example – they don’t even have to wear underwear.

well for one thing everyone i know who plays soccer including myself wears compression shorts..which is really tight boxers so nothing is slapping around down there..

Not exactly sure what the EPL players wear but you can be sure it’s made by Nike, Adidas or Umbro, though it’s been rumoured that there are a few ‘sand-dancers’ wearing ‘Fruit of the Loom’!
