I need to hire someone to remove a tree from my property. The chance that the tree will fall and damage property is minimal. What kind of insurance should the business have – liability insurance? workers’ comp insurance?

Both. If you want to hire someone without any insurance and save money, have them sign a waiver.of liability Either way you’re protected

when I was doing it,basicly all I needed was the liability in case I smashed something or someone got hurt…So ask if they have it and if not,send them on their way…
