he1ididog: What is the position of Judaism on Final Judgement? Will evil be punished and faith rewarded by God?
Christianity teaches that our actions are recorded by God. At the end of our Earthly existence; we are judged. Rejection of God leads to punishment and eternal separation. Faithfulness to God leads to eternal union with him in heaven. Simon Wiesenthal said in “Murderers Among Us: The Simon Wiesenthal Story” that he endured the camps because of his belief that “every cry of pain is heard forever in the mind of God”. I am curious if Judaism believes in divine justice.

Judaism believes that in the end we will either be with G-d or not. The just will walk with Him; the unjust shall remain lifeless and unknowing of Paradise.
They teach a whole lot of things they can’t prove……….Answer by Philip
All dead people stay in their graves, and they come out like zombies when judgement is passed. Only then the omniscient god passes judgement, deciding who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. Before judgement day, nobody is in hell or heaven.Answer by noah
You can ask 10 Jews this and you’ll get 10 different answers. There really isn’t a solid stance on the afterlife, and Jews if you thumbs-down me that’s just out of ignorance because you know I’m right.
Some Jews think all people go to Heaven. Some Jews don’t believe in an afterlife. Some Jews think that when you go to Heaven you’ll see what your life could have been if you had seized every opportunity, etc. There isn’t a single view of the afterlife shared by all Jews.
Answer by Brutticus Forceit does indeed believe in divine justice, but actual confirmed details of the end of days is vague, and really unhelpful.
Christians made up most of what is known about the final days, so Judaism doesn’t really have a whole lot to say, except some things that the rabbis have had a consensus to. Sort of.
Details vary from Mecheas Ma’atim (revival of the dead) to everyone being transported to Israel on giant eagles to the Yetzer Ha’rah (bad conscience, think the little devil on your shoulder) being completely destroyed.
This is a veritable minefield in which sages great and idiots small have gotten caught, from great sages to Rambam (who i think postulated this as one of his 13 fundamental beliefs of Judaism) to other, lesser known morons, like the poor Shabbosti Tzvi.
Answer by GivPerfJudaism does teach that after a person’s earthly life, he or she is judged to determine what his or her ultimate fate will be. We don’t know exactly how the judgement works, or anything about it, because we’re obviously still alive.
However, one thing is for sure – “faith” is not the main idea. It’s actions.
