Its a good question. Why does your credit score dominate everything you buy. You shouldn’t be graded on a bad situation or credit card issues. Other things should be considered.
I think the best score is between 77-740. I agree that it’s not fair cause there are alot of times people have a ruff time making ends meet. But everthing goes by your credit score. The best way to build one is a credit card or loan. It’s hard ,but just alittle amount and make payments every monnth is the key. The lenders really don’t care how much the bill is or even if you pay it off early. what they want to see and go by is dependence and making responable payments on time. When you keep the payment up it shows responsability to other lenders. It’s very hard to keep up these days but everything you do falls back on your credit. It does suck caues it’s hard to get any where without it.That’s why it’s easier to start out with small amounts, that you can aford to pay back. Then you show goodness towards other lenders to build your credit. It’s very hard to get any where now daysAnswer by mel
you have to give the money lenders credit; they have tied your self-worth to a score relating to money.
It’s a win-win situation for them, as they get ALL of your information to sell to others, which is fairly lucrative.
But it means nothing if you face the facts: if you have a steady income and you are not drowning in credit card debt, any lending institution will loan you money.
And if you can’t handle money, don’t have steady income, and have outstanding CC bills, they probably won’t.
