an easy pet to take care of would be a beta fish. they dont die easily and u just have to feed them a few pellets of food in the morning then you’re off.
a hamster, they are soft and cute. all you need to do is feed them occasionally, they usually store food in their mouths or in secret spots and have water full for them. also get them a wheel so they can play in it so you dont even need to take it out. also you need to change the bedding once in awhile because it can stink up your room.Answer by lemongreat23
I would think a fish.Possibly a turtle. You wouldn’t want something like a dog cat hamster horse pig or anything you have to interactive if you are too busy It would not be good for a pet.Answer by Jara
Probably a fish. I am busy almost 24/7 but I can easily take care of one.Answer by broken_hearted_hottie
Well i wouldnt suggest getting a turtle because they need to be cleaned all the time and if you leave the water too long it will start to smell bad. i would suggest you getting some fish because they are the easiest pets to take care of. or maybe a hamster would be better. hope this helps 🙂Answer by Elle
honestly a fish or a cat
you`ll just have to feed a cat and a fish everyday
you`ll have to clean the letter everyday…easy and quick or clean the tank once every 1-2weeks
easy right
with dogs you have to give them a lot of attention and with rodents(which i thought were low maintenance)are expensive to care for at times…
so i would get a kitten or some fish:)hope it helpsAnswer by rock&roll will never die
Maybe a hamster. i had a hamster and i had to take care of it by myself. (i’m 13 btw) i went pretty good. until we had to go to mexico for a vacation… right now i own two turtles… they are alright. though the tank will sometimes smell when the water gets kinda green. but you just have to clean out that water and put in clean water. i’ve also owned parakeets… they don’t really scream much… but drop a lot of birdseed… hmmm… what else? that’s all i can think of…Answer by gingersmummy
Corn snake. Look into them online, the corn snake forum is a great source of info.
Basics are…
Vivarium, made from wood is best, with vents and tight-fitting glass doors. For a corn snake, the best size is a 3ft wide viv, as this will be ample space when it is fully grown.
Heat mat – don’t use hot rocks or similar, as these get too hot & your snake will burn itself. You can also use a bulb (I have mine on timer in winter, but find it doesn’t need to be used in summer) The heat mat should cover half of the floor space in the vivarium, as snakes regulate their own temperatures they can move to the warmer or cooler side as needed.
A place to hide – like an overturned plantpot or a bowl with an entrance cut into it, or you can buy speciality hides (like caves) from ebay, petshops, etc etc!
Water bowl
Logs, plastic plants etc to create a habitat, climbing places, and if cleverly positioned they provide more places to hide.
Substrate (for the bottom of the vivarium, I currently use newspaper because my snake likes to hide under it!) Again, the cornsnake forum has loads of info!
My corn snake is about 30 months old now, I’ve had her since she was about 12 weeks old, and tiny! She is very active at night. A corn snake’s life span is 15-20 years. She feeds on mice, one every two weeks, which are bought in the pet shop (already dead & frozen!) kept in the freezer, & defrosted & warmed in water before I offer them to her. There is a feeding guide on the corn snake forum.
Corn snakes are very low maintenance pets, the only hard (and slightly costly!) part is assembling the set up! Once you have that right, you just need to handle your snake, keep it clean, give it fresh water & feed it, they don’t have emotions like cats or dogs & won’t mind if you’re busy one day & don’t have time to handle.
My snake costs me £1 per mouse, so that’s £2 a month currently to feed her, and the electricity which is very cheap, heat mats cost literally pennies to run, and the freezer where I store my mice is always plugged in anyway! 😉
Remember a snake will shed its skin, and there are certain times you need to leave it alone & not handle it for a day or two, like just after feeding or when it is about to shed.
**before you decide to get any animal please *PLEASE* research it very thoroughly!! make sure you know everything there is to know about that animal, and be completely sure you will be able to care for it properly for its entire life!!**
Failing that, may I suggest a pet rock? 😉 xx
I hope you find the perfect pet! x
