What is the difference between wearing lingerie and a panty/bra?

girlygurl23: What is the difference between wearing lingerie and a panty/bra?
As a crossdresser,I want to dress up in lingerie, but I am not sure what the difference is between lingerie and panty/bra. What else would I have to wear for it to be considered lingerie?

Bras and panties ARE lingerie.
