What is the difference between Lacrosse and Hockey gloves?

hopeful1: What is the difference between Lacrosse and Hockey gloves?
My son is starting to play lacrosse, and they say he needs gloves. He has hockey gloves. Can he use these, or is there a difference in the gloves?

I would suggest gatting new lacrosse gloves because hockey gloves are to stiff and lacrosse gloves are more flexible so you can easily catch and throw
