What is the difference between friendly flirtation and sexual flirtation?

So unless you’re in the market for a fling, use touch sparingly and keep some personal space between yourself and the object of your flirtation.”

What are the different objects? If you’re flirting, aren’t you trying to look for a date ? Or is a “friendly flirt” just look for a friend (not dating; just friends), and the “sexual flirt” looking for someone to date?
