david_loredo2000: What is the difference between a Native American Casino versus a Casino that is Non-Native American?
I’m trying to understand what the difference is? Is it the rules, regulations, or games? Or possibly could everyone be under the assumption that the payout percentages are dictated more through a Native American Casino? Just a little confused so any kind of clarification would be awesome! Thanks everyone for your answers!

Well there are lots of differences and it varies depending on the casino and the state it is in. First off all non-native american casinos are a lot fewer places then native american casinos. This is because the indians can build one on there land in almost any state but there are not as many places where gaming is openly legal and regulated besides nevada, atlantic city, new orleans, and a few other places. When it comes to regulations and games again it varies from casino to casino but they are usually very different for native american casinos. For instance native american casinos in many place are only allowed to have a certain number of slot machines there limiting which games they choose to put on their floors. In addition, depending on the state and the different regulations a lot of times native american casinos will have slightly different games or modified games to meet regulations. For instance in California, the state with the most Indian casinos, Indian casinos are not allowed to have dice games, craps, or roulette, They get around these regulations by have games usually called california craps and california roulette. California craps is essentially the same as craps but uses cards instead of dice. Basically the differences very by state and by regulations, but often times native american casinos have a lot of different laws then non-native american casinos and visa-versa.

native casinos are more highly regulated than non native casinos. tribal gaming only makes up 5% of all gaming in the usa so the claim that there are more native casinos than non is foolish.
the other difference is non native casinos don’t have to pay the state they are in hundreds of millions of dollars every year for the pleasure. ours do.
about the only difference you might notice is decor.
