I studied Comp Sci. It covers a lot of computer science theory, stuff that you don’t really need to know to work in the field. Your understanding of it does help your programming, so it’s not all useless. It’s hard to describe what I mean, state machines, compiler design, parsing techniques etc. It should allow some of the harder electives like AI and image processing.
For basic programming, Web, database, analysis, business focused, general computing is fine.
Answer by Absolutei am guessing because i never heard of computing.
i think a computer science course is a engineering, mathematical or programming course where a computing course is a course designed on how to use ms office or similar.
