dave: What is the best way to look for accommodation in London, United Kingdom?
I am planning on moving to London in September to study for my Master, and I need to figure out the best option to find reasonably priced accommodation there. I am aware of the fact that London is very pricey, so I want to figure it out rather sooner than later. As a little background info, I’m German, so therefore a EU citizen, which I hope will make renting a little easier.
Thanks for your help!

Answer by RJoxoxContact the uni you will be going to and find out about student accommodation. It’s usually a lot cheaper than renting your own place privately.. Or check out www.rightmove.co.uk to search for properties. Try and avoid central London, property is cheaper the further out you go, London has a very good transport link so even if you find a place on the outskirts you can be in central within half an hour tops. 🙂Answer by blueapple
Try “Gumtree” loads of people advertise
Rooms Flats etc
and you can decide on area and price you want to live/afford
