: What is the best way to discuss Judaism without being offensive?
I would like to debate religious views with a Jew who practices Judaism. What is considered offensive in their religion (aside from insults, insults do not make for a good discussion ) about their religion and god? I do not want to come of as anti-Judaism just because I like to learn and put my views out there?

There are ways to do this. Just be polite, and respectful. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with another persons religious beliefs. Just don’t be rude about it. I am a Christian and people disagree with me all the time. I don’t mind that. But I have stopped going to R and S here because too many are just trolls looking to offend my beliefs.
If you’re discussing, not debating, and the other person wants to participate, there’s nothing wrong with your plans.
Just make sure you are discussing with a person who wants to hear your views (we’ve pretty much heard it all before), and you are open to hearing that person’s views.
Answer by Abu Hurairah The JewWell, you can’t be critical, you musn’t question the state of Israel, and musn’t quote any violent scripture from the Torah, you musn’t quote any sick perverted stuff from the Talmud, if you are winning the argument you should give up, if the Jew brings up the Holocaust to distract you you must go along with his wishes….
otherwise you’ll be called an anti-semite
