What is the best street bike for a new rider?

Bob: What is the best street bike for a new rider?
I have ridden dirt bikes for the last couple years and was thinking about getting a street bike. I ride a CR 125 and rarely a CR 500 two stroke in the sand. My question is what would probably be the best sized street bike for me? I didn’t know if a 250 was for someone who just plain didn’t know how to ride a motorcycle. Would you recommend a larger size bike for someone who has experience riding dirt bikes?

I would recommend a ninja 250 they are small and light but still have some pep to them, if u really think a 250 is to small then get a ninja 500 r they are alot like the 250 have fun and be safe dude
