TROJAN DUDE: What is the best science to major in college?
I plan on going to med-school and becoming some sort of physician. But what if I end up being rejected from med-school or I change my mind about going to med-school after majoring in a science in college; what science major could I major in that would also help me with other high/moderate-paying careers? For example, would psychology be a good choice to major in?

Psychology is the standard fall-back major – there are tons of psych majors and as a result grad programs are very competitive. Try engineering. You’ll take math and physics for it, and there are lots of job opportunities with a bachelors.
Psychology certainly is a very promising career and if there are thousands of other psychologists wandering around, not all of them are exceptional. You can make a difference if you are good at your subjects. In this way, you will be able to secure a good career. What matters is your interest in it.
