What hotel chain can you make the most tips at? For example, what chain has the biggest business spenders? Which chain or alcohol establishment would be the easiest and least stressful to start bartending at after taking a bartending course at an accredited school?

In this economy, Hotel chains will have the luxury of being able to pick the perfect employee, because there will be so many people applying for the job, and 95% will have experience. All things being equal, they will pick the applicant with experience. I don’t care what school you went to, that is just the way it is now. I was lucky enough to land a job at a 5 star 5 diamond Hotel in Dallas. I worked in their Fine Dining restaurant lounge and made around 60K a year, all without wasting cent one of my money at a so called ‘Bartending School” Most Hotel Chains have decent benefits, so if you have a family and you have no real education, keep applying. Otherwise, get yourself an Associates Degree at a Community College nearby, because if you think about it, the Economy won’t be picking up for another year or two, giving you time to get a two year degree and make money in an area that doesn’t have a dead end.
