Nick Icarus: What is the best book on modern conservative economics?
I’ve read some stuff on supply side, but I want something that will give me a good perspective on the beliefs of current conservatives. (Written in the past 10 years.)
Not philosophical ideology about free markets, just plain economics.
All these “free-market solutions for everything” will save America just seems kinda silly to me. I just want a good book that explains it or something like it.

regardless of crummies in tummies, you know?”
Conservative economics traditionally have been associated with protectionism and mercantalism. The best books on free market economics come from the classical liberal tradition. I prefer the Austrian School some good books include: Economics in one lesson (Hazlitt), Man Economy and State (Rothbard) and Human Action (Mises).Answer by O-BOMB-A
