As Obama said last night you can keep your current provider and pay but you still have to help everyone else also?

You will be forced to pay a tax on your present plan if you wish to keep it. Unless you are a union worker. That one will head to the courts in a flash.

If you have insurance now, you’re already helping to pay for everyone else. It’s what they call a group plan…..it’s in the fine print. That’s why rates stay hi. If the general public were all healthy people, rates would drop drastically. Know who owns most of the biggest skyscrapers in every major city? Insurance companies and banks.

Just the mere mention of universal healthcare from Obama made the 3 major medical insurance companies drop their rates to help make it more affordable. They are agreeing that Obama wants to push the universal healthcare idea, because they will get TONS of new business, and they won’t be rediculed as hard by the people, and the government for having un-affordable rates. They are also agreeing to take on people with existing conditions which is huge for anyone with recurring conditions or chronic conditions. They’ll be gaining probably millions of new insurance clients (like you and I or anyone), and they’ll be able to reduce their rates by large amounts because of the new business coming their way.
Depending on your personal view of the whole thing, it has both good and bad points to it.

There is no plan. The King of *Pork Spending* (Google it) WILL bankrupt Americans who will not solicit those that put him into office. Don’t like it? Contact Congress – at best, it will force them to shut down their rhetorical web sites –
