Chris(f): What is an appropriate gift to give a physiotherapist this holiday season?
My physiotherapist for the past 1.5 years is actually going to be leaving her job early next year and I’d like to get her a Christmas gift. I was thinking candle set or something. Any ideas? Is it even appropriate to get her a gift?

give a gift card,,its not too personal (that Doc patient thing) and she can get what she wants
I asked my Dr. and she said giving a gift is not appropriate. But I think
you could give a small token gift when she leaves.Answer by latj
Your Dr has already said it is not “necessary” and there perhaps may even be a “set” policy whereas they may not be able to accept gifts as there are in many settings. I would suggest you keep it something impersonal as a nice box of imported chocolates. Nothing personal at all. Chocolates or lovely cookies or teas or something along that line. Something that if she had to “share” it with her co-workers are “defined” by the rules of the job then she can do so.
