Ramona: What is a good girls book club read relating to London or England?
My friends and I are looking for a good recommendation for our next book club read. As we all live in London, we figured a book on London or England would be good. We know all the Jane Austin and Bronte sister books. Are there any other good books? We arent total girly girl readers but also dont need anything that requires deep thinking.

Swapping Lives by Jane Green is about two women, one British and one American, who trade lives for a while. Its nothing deep, just a light chick-lit read, but its fun, especially for summer! I have a good friend who lives in London and she and I enjoyed this book, as we put ourselves in the characters shoes, hehe.Answer by RobReads
The Bloody Jack Series, by L.A. Meyer. Bloody Jack is really a girl. Orphaned in London at the end of the 1700’s, she lives with a street gang, then disguises herself as a boy and is hired onto a British Naval ship.
Great adventure, great characters, humor, suspense, great FUN.
