Jason: What hotels in Newcastle are cheap and close to the metro radio arena?
Hey going to Newcastle on 5th November and staying over night till the 6th, could use tell mr what hotels are close to the metro radiostation and that are cheap? Thank you 🙂

Straight opposite the Arena is a Jury’s Inn hotel – you can usually get rooms from lastminute.com for about £80.
A little further around the corner is a Quality Inn – unsure how much etc.
There are travellodges, premier inns all over the city.
If you look online at hotels, if they don’t say near to Arena, you can look for something close to central station (the arena is only a short walk away)- anything from St James Park or the Station would be suitable for walking distance.
That said, if you want to be “in the thick of it” you will be better off staying on the Quayside (Gateshead Quays) and jumping in a taxi (probs only cost a few quid)

Hi, I’m not sure what is considered ‘cheap’ for you, but I can highly recommend the Premier Apartments which are located in the heart of Newcastle. It’s approximately £140 a night for a double.
