: What hotel would you recommend I stay at in New Orleans before a RC cruise?
We will be flying into New Orleans on a Friday night & just need a hotel to stay at that night. The next day we need to be to the port to board a cruise ship for a Royal Caribbean cruise. It would be preferable to have something between the airport & the seaport & maybe something that offers free shuttle service from airport to hotel or from hotel to seaport (even better if both). The transfers through the cruise line from one place to the other run around $ 38/person & we’re hoping to find something cheaper or FREE.

Edit: The hilton does not have shuttle to the cruise. They only offer parking.

The Wyndham Garden Baronne Plaza in New Orleans is a nice hotel in the central business district, a great location. They offer a shuttle service for $ 20-$ 25 per person per trip (from the airport to the hotel).

The Hilton downtown is basically right by the dock and they probably have shuttle service to and from the airport.

Why dont you stay at the Hilton or Sheraton they are both on the foot of canal street and you can see the boat from your room!!! All hotels in the city have transportation!!! You’ll love it here..and have fun on your cruise!!
