iCorpseGrinder: What happens if you give a horse marijuana?
Some friends of my brothers gave a horse an ounce of marijuana and now the horse is just laying on the floor. Could the marijuana kill the horse? I’m seriously concerned he hasn’t gotten up in a while but I know he’s still alive.

true story- both coes and horses have eaten entire plants off my farm and none were found dead, but that was growing weed so idk id say itl be fine

Well when you give a horse marijuana it starts to just lay on the floor until you get concerned and finally call a vet.

LMFAO!!! That was hella funny. Ok… Nobody has ever died from Marijuana. Animals eat it all the time. In fact, most birdseed contains hempseeds. But, an ounce is lot. But Don’t worry, He’s just chillin’… I’d be layin’ on the floor, too if I just smoked an ounce. Just make sure that there’s water and food around ‘cuz he’ll probably have the munchies like a muthaf**ka

It is completely impossible to overdose on marijuana, even for an animal. THC is not toxic and has no negative side effects, the horse is probaly just Really high, that is if horses even have cannabinoid receptors.

I’d call the vet! Must have been some bad marijuana to feed an ounce to a horse. Is the horse lying around because it is the time that – well – it lays around. Also – Marijuana eaten without having been heat or cold activated does not do much in the sense of a high – just a tummy ache.

It would take a LOT more than an ounce to kill even a human the horse is fine, guaranteed.
It’s probably having the best sleep/relaxation of it’s life! 🙂
It’ll be fine, in time and in the long term will suffer no effects at all. Now, i’ve no experience since I neither work with horses or have seen an ounce of Cannabis consumed quickly, so I don’t know how long it will take for the horse to come around back to it’s normal self but i’d give it a week.
I know people that smoke an ounce a day on Saturdays and Sundays and a pretty much fine for work on the Monday so really the horse will be OK.
