What happens if i have insufficient funds in my paypal account?

P.P.P: What happens if i have insufficient funds in my paypal account?
I am new to paypal and created an account only today because I wanted to sell something through ebay. However, I also bought an item today that costs around $ 5.00 and I don’t have any money in my paypal account. Will paypal automatically transfer the money from my checking account? If not, what do I have to do to pay the seller of the item?

You have to transfer the money from the bank account into your paypal account- unless you pay with a credit card that is linked through paypal… paypal cant just automatically take it out of your bank account. This is why paypal can stink. You have to transfer the money in (can take a few days) and then you can pay the person for your item on ebay once the money IS IN YOUR PAYPAL account!
