Yessir33: what happen when a stock becomes delisted from the Nasdaq?
i currently have this one stock that is being delisted because it is merging with another company. is this a good thing or bad thing?

It can be either, it depends on why the company was merged. If the company was bought out this however is normally a good thing because it normally raises the value of the shares you had. From the past experiences I have had, my old shares were either converted in to new shares of the other company or I had to cash out my old shares at a fixed price that was in part determined by the buy out.
